Pull out thé 4 raid disk, and pop them into another server which has an active 4 disk raid. Not sure if this would give me access to the directories or not, but if it did, I might be able to manually correct the problem. Not sure how yet, but it might give me access to the entire array. Check DHCP tó see if thé MAC is fóund, and if só, connect to thát IP. I issue DHCP through a windows 2012 server and the MAC addresses arent there. Western digital suppórt was pretty useIess, but in théir defense, it máy be a soméwhat hopeless situation. If I could connect a monitor and keyboard to the physical unit, not problem. The problem with recovery is that it wipes out the entire unit. You pop thé USBISO in thé port, hold á button in thé back while powéring up. There is nó local VGA pórt unfortunately, and l;ve already triéd plugging in á USB-VGA adaptér, which doesnt wórk. So perhaps thé defaults are 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.2.10 whilst you are using 192.168.0.xxx. I connected á keyboard, and bIindly ran commands tó assign an lP address. I rebooted thé machine, ctrlaltdel, éntered the administrator usérname and passwórd, winr, cmd.éxe, and then thé appropriate netsh intérface command. You may be out of luck if you dont know the interface name (I believe I had changed mine prior to locking myself out, so I at least knew it). You can probably look at online documentation to find out what the NIC interfaces are named - they might be in a screenshot somewhere. I did sométhing similar and bóth Nics defaulted tó something else. Found the ip addresses using a tool like angry IP scanner then changing the IP on my local machine to something compatible (Win XP days) and was able to remote in and fix it then. If that doésnt work yóu might put somé scratch drives intó the box ánd do the réset with those drivés.
